No, you can explore and design a home without creating an account. However, signing up allows you to save your favourite designs, revisit them later, and easily share your selections with others. Creating an account is quick and can be done through the “Sign In” option in the main navigation menu.

Not necessarily. Each lot has unique characteristics, such as size, setbacks, orientation, and grading, that influence which home designs are suitable. A Patten Homes Sales Representative will work with you to ensure your selected home and layout are a good fit for your preferred lot.

The design tool includes a curated selection of the most popular floor plan options to help you personalize your home. Depending on the model you choose, additional configurations or upgrades may also be available. A Patten Homes Sales Representative can walk you through any further options.

Interior selections, such as cabinetry, countertops, and finishes, are completed later in the process through appointments at our Design Centre with a professional Designer. These sessions, available in person or virtually, allow you to explore a wide range of options and bring your new home vision to life.

Absolutely. We have several staged model homes available to tour across our various communities, and depending on availability, may also have other completed inventory homes you can walk through. We’ll do our best to get you into a model you’re considering so you can experience the space, finishes, and quality for yourself.

Basements are provided unfinished as a standard, offering flexibility for future use. A range of options are available to partially or fully finish the space, allowing you to tailor it to your needs—whether that’s additional living space, a guest suite, or more room for your family.

Driveways and grass are completed as seasonal work and are typically scheduled after the home has gone through one winter. Allowing the ground and foundation to settle helps ensure a better long-term result. Our team will coordinate completion as soon as conditions allow.

Eavestroughing is not included as a standard feature, as installation is best completed once final grading and landscaping are in place. This helps ensure proper drainage and long-term performance. Homeowners can install eavestroughing after closing, tailored to their final lot conditions and preferences.
